
OVERVIEW
The Maryland Music Educators Association will host the 2024 Annual State Conference at the Baltimore Convention Center and Morgan State University on Friday, February 23 to Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Current, retired, and future educators from around the region are invited to join us. Attendees will learn applicable, pedagogy-based proven practices from fellow Marylanders and national clinicians. This event occurs simultaneously with the rehearsals and concerts of the All State Senior Band, Senior Orchestra, Senior Mixed Chorus, and this year the return of the Senior Treble Chorus.

RESEARCH POSTER SESSION
The Maryland Music Educators Association seeks Research Poster Submission for the 2024 Annual State Conference. This opportunity allows current researchers to present their projects to colleagues for review and comment. These will be presented during the morning of the first day of the conference.

MARYLAND 5TH/6TH GRADE DEMONSTRATION CHORUS
The Maryland Choral Educators Association (MCEA) is delighted to offer the Maryland 5th/6th Grade Treble Demonstration Chorus again this year. This is a valuable professional development opportunity for our educators and an outstanding experience for younger choral students. Full information, including nomination forms will be available after the Fall In-Service Conference.

Join us in welcoming member of Pentatonix and Maryland All State alum, Matt Sallee to the 2023 Annual State Conference and All State Weekend. Mr. Salle is a guest speaker & clinician.
We are also excited to offer an opportunity for Maryland a cappella groups (collegiate & high school) to apply for a clinic with Mr. Sallee. The clinic will take place in Baltimore on Friday, February 23, 2024.

CPD CREDIT and CERTIFICATES
MMEA is currently in the application process with the Maryland State Department of Education to qualify for CPD Credits. More information to come soon. MMEA will provide a certificate of attendance to attendees.

All Conference Attendees are strongly encouraged to pre-register.
Pre-registration will remain open until Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (noon) ETS.
MMEA is offering price points for active members, first/second year educators, retired members, Collegiate/Student Members as well as a non-member rate.
The Early Bird Double Conference Registration Package for MMEA/NAfME Members is now closed. This package does not include the Fall In-Service Lunch or any hotel accommodations.
Registration will be available the day of the conference. Active/New Educator registration prices will increase by $20.00 for on-site registration. Retired Educators and Collegiate/Student (members and non-members) prices will increase by $10.00 for On-site Registration.

Registrations will be processed through Eventbrite. All transactions are final and non-refundable unless MMEA Leadership cancels the event. In the event of cancellation, participants will have the opportunity to request a refund within 30 days of the cancellation. Credit card processing and platform fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Invoicing - Districts, schools, or organizations can request invoicing for five (5) conference registrations or more. Please contact MMEA staff at mmeamarylandinfo@gmail.com for more information.
Late Fee Policy - Invoices not paid within 60 days will be assessed a late fee. Invoice totals of $100 or less will be assessed a late fee of $20.00. Invoices over $100 will be assessed a 20% late fee, not to exceed $500.
